Project Summary :

In collaboration with BESOM, Rural Development Women Welfare Society (RDWWS) implemented the Safe Drinking Water Borewells Programme across 10 villages in Mydukur Mandal, Kadapa District.

This transformative initiative aimed to address the pressing need for safe drinking water in rural communities, ensuring access to this fundamental resource for daily life and livelihoods. Through the installation of tube wells, RDWWS facilitated the provision of clean and safe drinking water directly to the doorsteps of villagers.

The impact of this programme extends far beyond the tangible provision of water. It empowers communities, particularly women and children, by relieving them of the burden of fetching water from distant sources, enabling them to invest their time and energy in education, livelihoods, and community development.

As a result of this collaborative effort, these ten villages now enjoy improved health outcomes and enhanced quality of life. We extend our sincere gratitude to BESOM for their generous support, which made this vital project possible.
